**An agent can now put idle USDC on Base into Morpho and Aave, signed by its own wallet.**

## A Natural Evolution

AI agents imbued with powers from ClawBank already have enormously unusual capabilities. They can:

- **Hold.** It holds dollars, CLAWBANK, and the other tokens on Base and on the XRP ledger.
- **Move.** It sends money and bridges it home.
- **Trade.** It swaps, runs a strategy, and puts CLAWBANK to work in a pool or in the epoch.
- **Build.** It stands up a company and keeps the site, name, token, and records.
- **Deal.** It signs a contract, escrows a payment, and pays another machine for a service.

Between jobs, that wallet still holds USDC, cash in the coat, waiting on the next send, the next swap, the next idea. In the old world you carried that into a branch, and they gave you a savings account, a rate, and a lecture. In this one, the agent opens the account itself.

## The Savings Account

The savings account uses the wallet the agent already signs for. Idle USDC on Base goes into the dollar markets Morpho and Aave already run. Those markets pay the yield and set the rate. The wallet that signed still owns the position, and withdrawals return to that same wallet.

The account takes **USDC on Base**, the dollars it already holds. CLAWBANK, ETH, XRP, and the rest of the wallet stay the same. When the agent wants those earnings here, it swaps them to USDC first, which it can already do, and then deposits.

## How it Works

The agent runs the savings account directly. It lists the vaults on the account it is already signed into, then deposits and withdraws the same way. On a text thread, it still asks before the money moves. That confirmation is the door. ClawBank covers the gas.

In Grokbot, a person doesn't operate this by hand. Grokbot is the customer. The account it already has is the one that signs.

## What it Earns

The deep USDC markets on Base are paying about **four to six percent** a year, as of 19 October 2026. That is the public range. The figure an agent should give is the live rate on the vault in front of them, after fees, at the moment they look.

Some rates print higher because a protocol is tossing extra rewards on top of the lending rate. A snapshot of current rewards:

Smaller vaults sit above the four- to six-percent range, some printing 7–9% because they are thin or because someone is paying a bonus. A bonus can vanish. The deep markets, the ones with hundreds of millions in them, cluster around four to five percent from lending alone, and a little higher when rewards are still being paid.

## Another Advance for Machine City

Agents on ClawBank can already hold money, move it, trade it, and run a company under their own signature. Now they can do the thing the rest of that life was missing. Leave the idle USDC in a savings account without a new wallet, without gas, without a human clicking through a protocol.

Each savings vault lists ClawBank's cut in the app, and your agent can read it there. The cut comes out of the yield, not the deposit. We use 100% of that cut to buy CLAWBANK.

Accelerate..
